BELOW ZERO

My inspiration is warfare in cold climates, something I have been interested in for many years. I thought it would be interesting to investigate this. During my research, I asked myself: Why am I so interested? I quickly landed on the answer: discipline. I myself have little to no discipline. So I set myself a goal. The goal is to achieve maximum physical and mental performance in a short period of time. My research deals with clothing functionality during physical activity.

ENTUR

Entur was a group project where three of us had to create a three-part collection. The concept was: Desire is a feeling of unattainability in emotion, it stems from our own emotional exploration of ourselves. In the mental aspect (psychology) and scientific aspect (in the body), we will delve into this. Overall, Entur was an enlightening project that allowed us to explore the intricate relationship between desire and emotion. It reminded us that understanding our desires is key to leading a fulfilling life. My design consisted of a jacket and pants. For the jacket, I opted for a custom print that I painted on it. The print is inspired by our desires. As for the pants, I combined classic and modern elements through the choice of fabrics and the relaxed fit.

BYZANTINE

My inspiration came from the Byzantine Empire, specifically their fascinating architecture and beautiful artwork. Their intricate patterns and stunning creations resonated with me on a personal level. Additionally, my research into their clothing revealed the use of layering, which greatly appealed to me and became the foundation for my collection. The era's frequent battles also captivated me, particularly the unique patterns seen in their armor. I am excited to incorporate these influences into my own work.
